Saint Ignatius Secondary School
Saint Ignatius Secondary School
“Students not only benefitted from growing their schema of knowledge with regards to Black history and Black achievement, but also have a better understanding of the systemic racism which precludes them from learning about these important peoples and events in mainstream education.
Furthermore, the students were given opportunities to build their independent research skills alongside their presentation and public speaking skills.
This unit improved relationships, increased engagement, improved attainment and improved mental health and well-being.
The workshop was phenomenally run, with great organisation and flexibility. Accessible resources, great leadership of sessions, knowledgeable and engaging session leader. Looking forward to having Holler at St Ignatius again next year!”
